Default 97 Civic Ex with D16Y8 what horsepower and torque should i be at?

I have a 97 civic ex with a d16y8 with a passwordjdm carbon kevlar intake, arias 11.5:1 comp pistons, i probe beam rods lightweight, full 2.5 inch exhaust from megan header back with 2 test pipes to quiet down the exhaust, aem camgear, and i use Royal Purple 10w-30 oil....does anyone have an approximation that they would guess and it is tuned, so says the guy that i bought it off of but he said he doesnt know an exact hp or torque?

What are you using for tuning ?

Stock ecu or something tunable. Because one stock ecu that wont perform that Great.

With a good tune should be I would say more like 120hp-140

This does not make sense. Test pipes replace catalytic converters. When in place, and with regard to noise, it will make the car louder. I'm guessing you mean to say resonators.

I'm guessing you car is making about 105-115 whp.

well lets see id say 2hp for the intake, 5 for the header and exhaust(the exhaust may be too big fyi), every point of compression increase is worth 2-4% so thats somewhere between 4 and 10hp. so that brings the grand total up to between 140-145hp at the crank. which means somewhere between 119hp and 130hp to the wheels assuming a 10-15% drivetrain loss. again its very ahrd to say. this is of course assuming that the engine is running at 100% which it may be, it may not be.

the torque is VERY hard to estimate. there are so many bolt ons out there that can increase HP but hurt tq, so im not even gonna try on that one.

im wondering where you get 160 from? so you are saying that an engine that is starting out at 125ish hp and 9.6:1 compression only has the potential for 35 more hp? also we are talking about the same engines that in stock form are capable of well over 40mpg? i think you better check your sources there. a hotter cam, I, H, E tuned for the engine, cam gear, and a standalone and is say that engine could be making at least 160hp. full build(bottom and top end), serious cam, extreme tuning and raise the compression and redline, and ill bet you would be well into the 200s. we havent even gotten into porting, larger valves, higher ratio rockers.......etc

Sure similar setups can be compared and you can try to guess your whp,but no one is gonna be able to tell you ''exactly'' how much whp your putting down.. you'll need to go to a dyno.

umm put in a nice stage 2 or 3 cam and you can get some nice gains since your already running high comp....also go for an aftermarket intake manifold

If this is the case then how come on passwordjdm website it says that the intake is dyno proven for at least 6.5 hp?
