what does anyone think about the zten traction bars... advatages or disadvatages to them...

 

best thing to come around sliced bread. Works as deisgned elimnates wheel hop.

 

waste of hard earned money. i know they work but if i had wheel hop problems i would look into the problem not just a simple solution. i have 2 cars that i drag, neither has wheel hop problems. look to the bushings not for the easy fix.

 

best produsct i bought yet . . . . 0 wheel hop now and used to hop all the way up to 4th.
did its part with the hop deffinately.

Both bushings and traction bars will help prevent wheel hop. Traction bars have the mechanical advantage though -- kind of like opening a heavy door from the door **** rather than 2" from the hinges. If it came down to either bushings or traction bars though, I'll take the advice of the guy running 9's.

 

yea and they really help to pullyourself from under the car when working on the underside. . . .

 

I went from a 1.95 60' to a 1.73 60' in an allmotor hatch just by using the Z-10s.

Im going to guess that the Z10-101 will fit the Del Sol as well as the Integras and Civics?

 

more like this guy is the guy that has never had problems with wheel hop whos suspension remains tight, who pulls 1.8s w/17psi in the tires. havent even launched the car hard yet. i use to pull 2.0s on 205/45/15 DRs in my heavy *** 99 EX coupe.
if u look at my first post i did say they worked, but i would recommend lookin into the suspension first b4 pointing fingers and gettin a quick solution.

 

i netted 1.71 60's with an open diff si tranny in a 3g integra using the z10. it works
