any difference in man trans bracket and auto?
92-95 civic, i have 2 automatics and 1 manual civic, the bracket that is welded to the frame(yes i know they are unibody) for the tranny mount looks to be the same between the two....im wanting to change one of my autos to manual....i did this swap on an accord and had to change the bracket just wanted to be 100% sure about the civic before i started
The brackets are technically the same, but they are in different places. I believe the bracket on the automatic chassis is closer to the firewall. Hasport makers a mount for this conversion, other companies might as well. Or you could just cut off the bracket and reweld it in the right place.

you're partly right, the automatic bracket is about half an inch closer to the firewall. Its a different bracket though, its angled up as opposed to going straight out. Either buy an aftermarket auto to manual conversion mount, or cut and weld the manual pocket mount to the frame rail.
