Well I plan I doing some type of quick release steering wheel sometime soon and I already have the passenger side air bag out. Is the SRS system integrated into anything else or will I be able to remove the entire system without it interfering with anything else ? Also will I throw a SRS light even with the unit not installed? Not a big deal if I do though.

 

You can remove the entire system, no problem.

I think I had an SRS light after removing it, but I just removed the bulb from the cluster.

What kind of QR are you thinking of going with?

 

not sure yet. Any suggestions ?

 

Yep, SRS system will all come out. All the wiring for it is yellow in color, so it's even color-coded for ease of removal
