Which one of those three would be a good choice? I posted last month about the R6 and F4I, but now I'm debating between these three bikes.
Base your decision on how comfortable you feel on them, don't base it on how they perform unless you are really experienced and you race otherwise you won't see anywhere close to 100% out of any of these bikes. See how you like the seating position, see if you can stand sitting on the seat for a while, stuff like that.
I'm 6' tall and from what I've found the GSXR and the F4i are more comfortable to me. I went with the F4i because of it's brakes and it's comfort and because I got a helluva deal. It's what you're comfortable on but you will be ready to go to something faster after a few months of riding a 600.
ITR0145 - I, too, am 6'. However, when sitting on a Gixxer6, I noticed that I would hit my knees on part of the fairing closest to my knees. Did you experience this? Not while riding, just when I would be putting my legs down at a stop.
As for this post, I say go for the F4i. It's a HONDA!
Sit on 'em all to try to get a feel of how comfortable (or uncomfy) they each are. Good luck!

If I go for comfort then the F4I would be my choice, because I sat on all three bikes, and the most comfortable one was the F4I. The R6 was horrible, it was ridding my nuts the whole time.

haha, it only eases up a bit when you get down. Hell, I even tried using my chest on the tank to ease up some of the pressure. It's a 100% business riding position for lack of a better description. The yzf600r is a lot nicer on the berries.

i am thinking about getting clipon handlebars to get me leaned over farther. i dont like having most of my weight on my bum anymore, plus sitting upright makes your spine part of the suspension, leaned forward makes your arms/legs take more of the bumps/loading, and my legs and arms are more flexible so they do a better job than my spine.
R6 is the way to go...if you don't mind your hands going knumb. I have that problem.
But like stated before...it's a sport/race bike...comfort is not an option...performance is...and in my opinion...the F4i doesn't perform like a honda should.
R6 or Gixxer is the way to go.
But remember the R6 and Gixxer are far less forgiving if a mistake is made.
Inexperienced rider should be careful on all bikes, but these bikes especially.
If you want something that performs very well and still has a great deal of stability, I would suggest the Gixxer...it's less twitchy when ridden near it's limits.
R6 is comfortable to me as far as seating position. It feels the most natural to me. I just wish my hands wouldn't knumb up on distance riding.
When adrenaline is flowing from riding hard...who care if you can feel your hands or not. Most of the time I have the death grip on the bars anyway!!

i had the same decision to make and i bought the f4i
. the seating position for me on the honda was much better than the gixxer. the r6 felt nice but i didn't like the non-fuel injection. the honda is a great bike, in fact all 3 are. sit on all of them and if you're a newbie i don't think you'll notice a difference. let us know what you end up buying.

I totally reccomend the R6. I used to own a 99 R6 and I must say it was the best handling bike ever.. the weight it so well perportioned. It would **** R1 owners off all the time who couldnt ride when I'd kneedown past them. ... On the straight aways they'd catch up (obviously).
The F4i is a dog until about 7grand IMO... (not trying to offend anyone here) and I dont like its seat. If the gixxer 600 is anything like my 750.. its got ***** but way top heavy.
Unfortunatly for me the R6 was stolen and now I have a 96 GSXR-750.. i miss my baby though.

I had the same debet last year I choose the gixxer and Im glad I did.Its a little more of an aggressive seating position than the honda but the handling and new
fuel injection make up for it. Not to metion the seat is gel great for long distance!
As for the R6 their nice bikes and all but if your a novice rider I would not recommend it.Too short of a wheel base!

IF you are looking for a good bike on the street and for everyday use, the f4i is the way to go. I'ts not the fastest bike out there, but by far the most comfortable and easiest to ride. It'll get up and go though, don't get me wrong. Enough to pull the front wheel up from a roll on.
