Default Clutch pedal adjustment = no grinds

Just found this post, excerpt

"I think it is essential to adjust you clutch especially when you drag race. I was the one that show Freshnice1 how to adjust his clutch.

Before the adjustment: my clutch is fine on regular shiting but when you shift hard and fast like you are like track, the clutch wont' disengaged till you the clutch pedal is almost to the ground, and that causes alot of miss-shifts. I used to missed 2nd frequenly and that just look really bad especially when you are at the track.

Another post

"Mine would grind going into third, I adjusted the clutch master cylinder pushrod a little tighter, maybe one turn and its been fine since. ... But so far the adjustment has been working out ok. "

UPDATE!!!: I adjust the clutch pedal/rod, making the rod longer. unbolt 12mm locking nut (if looking from the top your turning it clockwise to loosen) and turn the rod about betwen half/full circle and tighten the 12mm nut. Turn the rod in the direction which would make the rod longer (counter-clock wise if looking from the top - I believe). I just drove around 5 minutes and I haven't felt the grind. I still feel 2nd gear is like a two step process... there's like a midway stop and then all the way in
