R1366 gets a makeover...Thanks to bbasso!
After years of neglect, I finally decided to give heR some much needed attention. The paint on the R was so faded and dull it was embarrassing. So I called up the one person who I trust to work his magic on my R.
A BIG thanks to Rob/bbasso for coming through and braving the unseasonably cold spring weather we had. The results were amazing.
Here some pics of the day:
Start of hood after compound ONLY..

Rob and his magic wand..

Lip is left w/ battle scars:

Attacking the roof...

Pee yellow paint...down the drain:

I have been paying a lot of attention to the work done by this particular user (Bbasso). I have personally seen his work, and it is top notch. I hope to use his services some day as well.
Slacker, thanks for making the post and sharing.

He did about 6 steps to get it that way.
A wash then another clay bar type wash. Then he used a compound. A medium polish and then a light polish followed by a sealant/wax.
By no means it is show car ready but it was a huge improvement to what it was.
