Default B17 ?? hp

ok i was lookin on here and didnt find anything about anyone building up a B17..i was wondering what hp people made with CTR pistons... or jdm itr's

im going with

ctr cams
todda flywheel
portd n polish gsr head
spoon head gasket
skunk2 intake mani

let me know what u guys think about the pistons ctr or itrs

Basically this is a poor man's CTR with 80cc's more displacement, and 1000k red-line loss. I'm thinking 150 or less to the wheels. (unless you tune).

And you are looking at compression in the high 12's:1 which is way higher than ctr cams need.

my buddy got 162 whp in a b16 with just ctr pistons tuned, you should see about this or alittle more

soo what would u use ctr or itr pistons

i was planing on taking the motor to 8500.... i use to take my stock b16 to 9000... and using a ericks racng ecu obd0

can you buy 94 or higher octane? I would use the JDM type R pistons, they will give you a more detonation friendly 11:1

and tune it! those components were not indented to go in to that engine!

Have you researched what your C/R would be with either piston,machining that might be done to the head or block, and with the HG your planning to use?

Spoon head gasket
PR3 head
PCT pistons

Is no street engine, go with P73-00 if you want to drive it daily.

i was going to go with a spoon head gasket .. and i can run 93... or 110 they sell it at the gas station.. or E85.. what that eats away the rubber seals
im trying to have around 12:0 comp...

Any header will have no or very little outcome on you compression ratio!

If I am correct your compression should be around 12.49 to 1 with a oem headgasket.
