hey ... well i recently got a cel, i checked got code 74 looked it up and it reads random misfire cylinder 4... so my question is how do i go about fixing this any suggestions would be grreat thanks

 

..seems like you need to replace your cap and rotors or spark plug wires

 

Might also be a bad injector 4 or low compression in cyl 4, though a bad plug or wire is more common.

 

make sure the damm spark plug wires didnt come loose of from the dizzy for some weird reason. That happened to me once. It seems the base of the wire that went in the dizzy was broken and just came off while driving making my car stutter like hell and sound like a VW bug.

 

i have this same problem i posted a while back and nobody could give me a positive answer i did plugs and wires and it went away for about a week then i took it up into the vtec and the cel came back on

 

You may still need to do the rotor or cap.

it's either and bad injector or a bad spark plug wire, or a fouled spark plug in cylinder 4
