PLEASE HELP: identify these aftermarket cams
i got some cams from a buddy that took them out of his type r they came in the car when he bought it. the car came with a receipt for some skunk 2 pro 2's but they are not s2 cams i am pretty sure we compared them to my freinds pro'2 and the center lobes are about the same but the outer lobes on these cams are a little larger than his. the only markings i can see on them is an A on the end of both cams. Anyone have any idea's? maybe toda A's? what markings do blox cams have?

I've only seen 'A''s on toda type A's. based on the size of the second primary it looks like them.
Just measure the exhaust and intake vtec lobes, if they are the same exact size then they are toda.

a different model what? does blox put the letter at the end of the cam also or is that just a toda thing? is there any other marks on a toda or a blox cam?

i have buddy club spec 3's and on the ends mine are stamped with a T .. so with that we know buddy club stamps there cams with letters, maybe you could call them an ask them if they stamped any of there cams with the letter A.. if not i would call toda since that is an option you think it could be, if both of those company's say no, then call blox and ask them if they stamped any cams with an A... then call skunk2 an ask if they stamped anything with an A.. since those are the company's you think they could possibly be, if they all say no, then i would measure the vtec lobes an check them out.. i believe there is a sticky all about b series camshaft's an what the specs are around here somewhere.. then just go from there, or keep calling company's. what kind of cam gears are on the cams?.. sometimes people buy them as a set, or to match there cams/valvetrain. what kind of valvetrain is on the car? check into that an that company.. etc.. go from there.. im sure if you follow the steps i recommend you could solve this mystery lol
yeah my buddy has a set of bc3's and they have a T also, i checked skunk 2 and they would say p2+ on the end with an s2 in the middle of the cam they dont have the s2 so they are not s2 cams. i have an email in to blox and toda hopefully i get something back. i know toda's have an A B C or D at the end like these depending on the spec but i dont know if they have any other markings. i havent seen any pics of markings on the blox cams so if anyone has them a little info would be helpful. it has golden eagle cam gears and the head had omni valves with supertech springs and ti retainers
now that i think about it, my friend had a set of blox cams, not sure which ones but as far as i could notice they didnt have no markings on them at all.. im pretty sure the ends were blank as well.. go on toda's website n try to find there number and call them, thats your best bet. your very lucky if they are toda cams, they are very expensive an high quality which im sure you know, but im not sure how they perform, not many people run them cause of obviously the price lol.. but good luck, definitly call the companies, best bet,
called toda. they went over some things with me to check and they said they are real. so mystery solved they are toda a's
lol i know he is probably kicking himself in the *** right now. he sold me the cams golden eagle cam gears supertech valve springs and ti retainers out of the head for $450 because his timing belt went and he bent the valves. he just bought the car and so he didnt have the money to fix it so he thew a b16 in and is just trying to get some money out of the old motor that he doesnt know much about. deffinitly a sweet deal for me. he is a good buddy though and is happy they are going to good use.
