help my car sounds like a subaru
idk what happen i was playing with an IS300 on the freeway an i was at about 7500 rpm in 4th an my car started filling up with smoke!!! i pulled over an i had oil leaking down an dripping on my down pipe, and exhaust. it never over heated, nor did it throw a check engine light so i didnt understand. the next day i started it an smoke started coming out of my little filter on my valve cover, an it struggled to stay alive, i had to drive it down the street an thats when i noticed it sounded like a subaru wrx so idk whats wrong with it, i know i should have built the motor more but its a stock b18c running 5 lbs of boost till it gets tuned so can some give me some help

Sounds like a cracked sleeve or over boost causing the crack due to hole in line for wastegate.
My B18C GSR blew and cracked the sleeves last week because i wasn't running a tune to see that i had a boost leak and it needs to be rebuilt now.
Always get it tuned.. ALWAYS.

Wow; I know its not funny but (listen learned)I have had the same thing happen to me. Few years back my car spiked from 7psi to 13psi. I cracked the #3, #4 cyl bad. Needless to say the car was laying smoke like a ninja popping smoke.
racing on the highway with no tune FTL....next time listen to the people that have been there, done that.....Most have done it at least once though, so dont feel bad.
Pull the head and see what you broke...you might just wanna save some time and pull the motor now. I can tell you its gonna need a rebuild so you got to pull it anyways

1. Complete a compression test.
2. Take apart your motor & examine a broken ringland.
3. Rebuild the motor with forged pistons/rods & a proper tune & be happy :-)

It could be a bent/chiped or droped valve! i chipped a valve on the dyno tune with a vafc once a long time ago on my gsr and it sounded like a suburu lol. i replaced the head with a b16 and beat the **** out of it more!

Sorry to hear it but driving around with no tune + boost was just asking for it. Time to pull it apart and startover.
