Default tdc

hi, I am about to dial in my cams on b20/vtec with high comp. pistons and skunk2 pro2 cams. the problem I am having is finding absolute tdc or true tdc as some might call it. Does anybody know how to do this with a dial indicator? my head is already installed. any info will help thanks.

1. You need a degree wheel and eyeball TDC and set your wheel.

2. Measure 0.100 down on either side of TDC.

3. Absolute TDC will be in the exact middle of your two numbers.

EG. if you 0.100 down is 22 BTDC and 20 ATDC then TDC is on 1 BTDC.

4. Adjust needle to 1 BTDC, then adjust wheel to 0.

Yes, easy way, take an old spark plug, knock out the center, tap it for a long 5/16 bolt, round the end and have at it.
