Default 2007 civic si issues

I replaced my stock headedrs with JDM after-market headers and I drove over 500 miles beofre my check engine light came on and threw me an O2 code. Can anyone toss me any suggestions or an O2 sensor that can fool the ecu? defintely burns much richer with headers. Need help.

burns richer? i think you might be fooled by the smell the exhaust emits when there isn't a cat in place.

is there any bung for the second o2 where you could use the non-fouler trick? if not, you might be able to get one placed in the exhaust so you can do that. otherwise, someone might have some info on an o2 sim that works for these cars.

yeah i just not used to no cat as aprt of the exhaust. but i did find a part for my racing headers to make the check engine light go off. its basically a bolt that goes into exhaust where converter would be, and extends it so that the sensor wont rust and throw the light. i forogt my buddies brother owns a performance shop and has a civic he did the same work too, and much more and thats what he told me. also....anyone know of any car meets in DFW area for imports? or just hondas?

well.....actually you dont need to disconnectg your battery....you can just clear your check engine light too with a code reader. Also......im debating whether or not to start investing in a turbo or super charger (leaning to supercharged) and i could deffinetly use some input. both expensive but super requires my ecu to go to cali to be programmed and unfortunaetly its my everyday driver. anyone got anything for a 2007 si ?
