I just bought a Civic with a twin cam motor. It needs a distributor but the original engine has been replaced with a ZC. I looked on eBay for a new dist. but there are several differen't types.

How would I tell which one I need?

 

DOHC ZC? in a '92 - '95 civic? You need the rare OBD1 DOHC ZC distributor, you can get them on ebay, they aren't available in US parts stores as no US engine uses that distributor.

I looked on eBay and there is a guy selling Gen 1 and Gen 2 distributors. Could you have a quick look and let me know which one to buy?

Note how one leg is extremely long compared to the other 2, this is specific to the DOHC ZC, the other thing to look for are dual grey plugs.
