Default heater core -del sol

I searched. I need help on changing a heater core on a del sol. It's my first del sol and I just picked it up tonight for $600 bucks I'll get pictures up soon. So any one have any info on changing one? Do I need to pull the dash or can i just do it from pulling the glove box out? thanks for anyhelp. Ohh. and its a 94 with a single cam stick.
thank you,
Wil

dash has to come out. not something the average car guy should attempt. i guess it could be overwelming. only about 10 bolts holding it in tho.

once youve done one its basically the all the same. so if youve taken one out before you shouldnt have a problem now.

once you get the dash out the heater core is cake. few 10mm bolts, couple plugs and thats it.

Yep, I am about to pull my heater too. Do what he said.

The only problem I ran into on the dash the first time was figuring out what harness to pull. Basically you pull the one from the fuse box, then unplug it from the radio. Think there is one under the radio too.

I need to figure out what kind of weatherstripping to replace on it, anyone know?

on the heater core? it just uses foam for sealing.

yea unplug all the connectors from the fure box that go throught the dash. dont worry there all different connections so hooking them up will be a breeze. then unbolt the fuse box. should be 2 bolts. i think theres a couple srs connections under the radio as well.

I got some household foam strips, I hope that works. I don't see anywhere that Honda sells it.
