Okay so I believe the cable came loose to open the rear hatch. How do i get it open now??

 

disassemble the plastic cover where you got your gas/trunk lever and pull the cable from there.

 

nope I tried that i don't think its that side. Something wrong with the other end.

have you tried the key hole? from what i read it doesnt seem that way but what do i know

wow where is everyone? thought this was a pretty big section>??

 

climb through the back, pull off the plastic molding on the tailgate, and at the top center is a latch kinda like a hood latch, with the cable in it. if the cable is NOT in it, simply push the latch with your hand. to get the plastic off of the tailgate, take off the panels used to change the taillight bulbs and pull from there. its a helluva lot easier.
