car stalls when warm... helppp
So i was driving my car home last night and the car had been running fine all day. Out of nowhere the tach. goes down to 0 but the car is still on and running. it didnt jerk or anything and then it backfired pretty loud. after that everything went back to normal for about 30 secs. then the car just shut off. i pulled over to the side of the road, got out and looked around under the hood but could not find anything wrong except power steering fluid was everywhere. so i went back in my car and tried to start it and it started. so i drove about 50 yards and it ran fine for tht time and then broke down again. but this time it would not start again. so i went back about 12 hrs later and it started right up but then stalled. so i started it again and it ran perfect all the way home.
the car does this to me about once a week. but always started back up soon after it stalled.
What do you guys think could be wrong with it..

just as a guess id say have your coil checked or even module seems strange that after it plays up on you it comes good for almost a week both these parts they can sort of die when hot and no load but when they start playing up they get stay the same or get worse how often do you drive the car and for how long do you drive it?
ok.. so i drove my car today for about 15 miles.. every couple mins the car would like stall for like .5 sec adn then go back to running fine. and then i was on my way home and it stalled so i oulled to the side adn sat there for maybe a min and started it right back up and drove it home.. and every once and awhile the tach. will shoot down to 0 but the car will be on... does it sounf like a dizzy. cuz i need to be positive b4 i buy nethign cause my cash flow is pretty bad right now
Thats a bad ground I think. AGAIN, check all your grounds. The grounds the the negative side of your low voltage systems. If the grounds are loose even just a bit your going to lose power and thats dangerous. Id check the ground that goes to your tranny, and to your frame etc as well as the rest of them. If you need a list and map of where all your grounds are repost here. It sounds electrically related though
