Hi, my 93 integra its not stay running and im thinking its the alt but im not sure so here i made a vid so u guys can help me figure this prob out. i checked for grounds already, Bad alt fuse( I checked the fuse inside the cabin, not sure where the or if there is another alt fuse) and my bat is good. here it goes

check sum vacume lines on the intake manifold and work with it and see what u find mabe u shoud check ur i.a.c idle air control valve mebe u should try to clean ur throtle body theres a list to go down and i dont thinks its the alternator... hope im of sum help good luck

 

to see if it is the alternator hook a voltmeter to the battery, take note of the voltage, start the car. The voltage should raise to at least 13-14.5 volts, if it is not doing this then it is clearly a bad alternator.

 

if there is something wron with the charging system the battery light will stay on..i would say there is a crossed wire or ground since it dies when you hit the lights off..if anything it would die when you turn the lights on

 

your first step needs to be checkin that code...the ecu is in safe mode which is why you can rev higher than that...pull that carpet back and see what the led is doin

yeah i dont sound too cool but i dont think anyone likes there voice when they takes vids of them talking, so i dont really give a **** if i sounds stupid i just want to fix my car and thanks for everybodys responses i will check my ecu and check for codes.
