Naw man , it would be a pretty bad idea because a b19a1 from a DA and it would make 10 hp less , and the special edition should be a b18b1

All RS/LS/GS/SE Integra Engines are either:

90-91 Integra = b18a1 OBD0
92-93 Integra = b18a1 OBD1
94-95 Integra = b18b1 OBD1
96-99 Integra = b18b1 OBD2a
00-01 Integra = b18b1 OBD2b

The engine code is stamped on the block right in the front. Look a little to the left from the exhaust manifold near the transmission.

The valve cover for any 96+ b18b1 Integra will look completley different from the b18a1 90-93 Integra Valve Cover. Do a search and you'll see what I mean.

Is your state an emmissions state? IF they dont do emmissions testing then I wouldnt worry about it. I know here in NC 2k for a decent teg is super cheap but 96 would have to be put on the sniffer.
