Default Clutch or Tranny problem

makes a growling noise in all gears when i pull up the clutch. also the clutch feels weird when i pull it up. like it is springy in an area and doesn't pull up smooth. i think teh recent guy did a own clutch job and ****ed it up.

any advice would be great. thanks

Drop your transmission its not really that bad. The only real hard part is when you put the tranny back on getting every thing to line up while lifting it into position. I would check the pressure plate though.

my guess? your throwout bearing return spring is broken. I usually buy 3 of them at a time, because they are broken every time I do a clutch job on an ef. I have even seen one that broke off a tab of the throwout bearing and sheared off the end of the return spring. It is #5 in this picture.. the tab i was talking about is that bit on #1..
