Why do you want to adjust them anyway? Do you think you will gain power? Are you on the bottle? etc?

DO NOT ADJUST THEM YOURSELF!!! Have a competent tuner adjust them while dyno tuning.

Adjusting them yourself is a pointless venture and you could very well end up losing power. No 2 engines are the same, so you CAN NOT use the settings from someone else's car or what your friend or some book told you.
Keep them set to 0 degrees of adjustment until you can get them tuned on a dyno.
