Default H22 4-1 RMF Replica in a 4th gen, Is it possible??

Ive been really intrested in this header. i have a friend of mine who has this same exact header in his H22 EG. I was surprised by the gains it made by just installing this header. I found it for a decent price. But its only for h22 swapped cars, ie. civics, integras, accords. but my question is, Would this header fit right in a 4th gen? I would imagine that there would be some modifications requiered. if so what modifications would i be doing? My AC and PS have been removed. making some space in the engine bay. i would also think that an EG half sized radiator would be in order aswell. if anybody else has done this, What did you have to do to make this work?

Im going to say that since its for a H22 and only swapped into civics, I guess, (didnt check the link) but you are probally going to have get the pipes extended where your cat is.

Also the Front engine brace cross beam on a prelude may cause some confusion on that as well.

It looks like you'll have to replace the entire crossmember with a traction bar. I just can't see it fitting any other way.

I doubt that you expect this header to bolt right up to your existing exhaust, so I won't even mention that part.

well my friend came over with his h22 eg and we tested his RMF replica header on mine. it seems like the cross member needs to be trimmed someand extended at the collector. Ill probably jus go for the tri-y header that kronn bought to save myself some $$ and a headache. it would be bad *** to see the RMF header in a 4th gen..has anybody done it??

Theres a post here somewhere with the comparisons. The gains were substantial though to say the least. I believe it was 7 whp peak hp gain over the other leading header that was tested.

when you get it fitted, please see that the Cross member with traction and the exhaust pipe are synchronised properly.

I do make a new style header for h22's that fits on any car that an H22 is in without having to cut or change anything. And it also makes more power than that 7 year old copy.

Whitfield racing in Upland Cal carries them and so does RS Machine in Norwalk,Cal
