to check if its your wheel bearing jack up your car and see if there is any play in your tire...if there is then your wheel bearing is out...and check again if there is any play in your axle

I would check all of those. Lug nuts...axle nut...wheel bearing...even the tie rod end and ball joints.

Does the 'clunk' change when making a turn? Is it always there no matter what direction you are traveling?

If it happens on a bump at all...check upper and lower ball joints also. Also take a look at the bushings all around.

X2
jack it up check all nuts, grab the tire at 3 and 9 o'clock and pull on one side while pressing on the other then do same for 12 and 6 o'clock positions. If not sure as to how much play it should have try the other tire.

Hell, it might even be a broken belt in the tire itself. Just feel around and you might notice part of the tire is bowed inward.

i know from 1 bad experience lol ... it could be your intermediate shaft that goes from the driver side axle into the tranny, make sure the bolts are tight ... good luck
