DA best rims and suspension combo
Looking for the best look for my da. Don't wanna slam it and scrape everything on the street but I want a nice drop. Plus I was thinking of some fat five stars or just some slips. Right now I got some mugen RNR's but I wanna get something different.Any pics and feed back will be appreciated.
Wheels are your taste so put on whatever you want.
If you've got real Mugen RNRs I'd personally keep them.
Suspension, do you want a spring/shock combo or coil overs?
I've got PIC APEX coil overs on my DB2 and I love them.

i've heard some really good things about function forms, my friend has them on his da and loves them.
as for wheels, like g2 racer said it's all on you. but when i had my da i had the rnr knock offs and i loved those.. until they got jacked

i'm running Bilstien HD's from an 89-91 Civi/crx with grond control sleeves. They ride amazing scince the shock body is shorter.
suppose one had a skunk2 pro-c set up, slammed, with 16x9 wheels (low pro tires) how would the ride feel? would the wheel vibrate? would other suspension set ups make a difference on the ride? or just the wheel size?.....sorry for thread jacking
The best rides in my opinion are usually shock spring combos. I've had a lot of luck running stock shocks with a 1-2" drop. Rides really comfortable if that's what you're going for.
Just keep in mind stock shocks tend to blow out much quicker on lowered springs....usually 2" and greater.
It also depends on your budget. I've had Tein basics and flexs on my cars and didn't really care for the ride quality. But others like it so it's all a matter of personal preferance.

Just in case you are considering full coilovers...I have function and form type II on my DA and love the ride. I have had them for about two weeks and its my daily driver.
i agree. wheels are your shoes. you dont want other people pickin em out for you. =D
Woah woah woah... You have RNR's but you said "Fat fives or some slips"
Either you A: dont have RNR's, or B: your crazy. Keep the RNR's and throw some koni sports/ground controls on it and be highly satisfied.

Im running TOKICO gas shocks with Ground control coilovers. It rides great! the springs are a little stiff there 650F/700R but i auto cross too so i love the ride. I only have it dropped like 1.4inc for DD and i don't hit anything.
