Default holy wind noise batman!

i have an 2000 ej6, which when going @ 70mph+, makes so much noise that my girl has to almost yell at me just to have a conversation on the highway, are all older civics like this? what can i do to reduce this? i have already used dynamat on my doors, but that doesn't seem to really help, any ideas? i've grown so frustrated of it! i know this isn't a lexus but still, it shouldn't be this bad!

He said wind noise. I would imagine that anyone with the ability to use a computer also has the ability to tell the difference between the sound of the exhaust and the sound of wind.

OP: While some wind noise is common on our Civics, this description makes it sound like there is a problem.
Check all of your door and window seals for cracking and/or tears. The seals may be dried out. To fix this, you can try using some silicone grease and grease the seals.
Another solution would be to get some window visors (or whatever they are called). However, this would help but it would only be a mask to the real problem.

When your door closes, does it close tightly, or is it loose?

yeah i meant wind noise lol, engine/exhaust is pretty mute when cruising

and i checked the seal/around the doors they don't look cracked or torn but they do seem "flat" not soft, i noticed another thing, my pass. door makes a loud thud when closing it, so i checked that adj striker and found out its not quite aligning right to the part of the door that goes on it.

so i adjusted it, but still it doesn't fit right, also i saw the door not quite aligning with the body when its closed (i'll get a pic up this evening), so im thinking i need a door adjustment or something???

also people tell me rubberized undercoating prevents noise from entering the cabin? true??

you need to let us know where you are hearing the wind noise from and then we can make a more accurate determination of what to replace/check.

Did you buy your car from a person who possibly worked/raped the car?

The last owner could have maybe removed something??

The seals should be kinda puffy and soft. If they're flat, they probably need to be replaced because grease will likely not fix them.

If the door isn't aligning properly, check the door hinges for wear. The pin that goes in the middle of the hinge has some a little rubber type bushing sort of thing in it and if it is worn, the door hinge will feel loose. With the door open, is the door easy to rock up and down a little bit?

The rubberized undercoating helps with road noise, not so much wind noise.
