so i have a sohc ZC in my ef four door.. i bought i z6 head and put it on i did everything right as far as i know.. but i have a few problems

for one when i step on the gas up until 1500 rpm it bogs like crazy!.. then above that it revs just fine.. what are some potential probs.. timin is outa the ? i have it dead on for sure..

another prob is that its throwin the IACV idle air control valve code on the ecu.. now im running the z6 manifold and i tried to put my old iacv from the old intake mani and still the same code.. can i not use this mani for this swap?

and lastly when i hold it at 2000 rpm it goes up and down in idle real fast.. and i cannot hold it at 4000 rpm.. its all or nothin.. but it idles just fine!

need help if anyone has done this before and ran into similar problems

did you torque the head?

 

yep i torqued the head and everything inside of it to the specs in the book.. did the two step process and everything..
