Default 95 integra gsr problem

Seems to miss when vtec kicks in at bout 4500 rpms till about 5000 rpms then gains power like regular. Only happens when car is cold after about 10 minutes of driving it doesnt happen?

LoL thats because your vtec wont kick in when your car is cold, at least it shouldnt unless its being by passed by a chipped ecu.

well vtec shouldnt engage until your car is warm. unless neptune or something of the sort tells your ecu to ignore thermostat temp and engage vtec neway.

um stop getting on it with the engine cold. Problem solved. Are you TRYING to destroy your engine? 80% of engine wear occurs at startup, when the oil is cold and thick. VTEC requires oil pressure to operate and to force the oil through the passages to lock the rocker arms together. When the car is cold, that doesn't really work as well.

Not a big deal I did the same thing when I first got my gsr. I would go to step on it and the car would bog out and nearly die past 5k rpm. What you gotta do is warm the car up and drive it around for 5 mins then you are allowed to rev the ever loving **** out of it from then on.
