will the 4door si fog lights work for a 2door si??
or will it need mods and such??
any info on this would be nice if u got nothin but bs to say i dont wana hear it

 

I think they will work i just put some oem fogs on myne. They gave me the 4 door wiring harness and it all pluged right in no problem. I dont know about the "ebay" or oem look alikes but factory lights work.

they are differently mounted on the front bumper.

 

Are the foglights different shape from the fa5 to the fg2? If not it will work.

They're both different shapes therefore not interchangeable.

 

i got the oem honda ones but they are for 4 door n i did not realize til i got home it said it on the box.
the black housing part looks diffrent but i dont think i even need that but not sure thats why i was askin
kuz i think i just need the lights since the coupe already has the housing there just not the lights if they just cut them out or what?

oh yeah i looked on pwjdm n the kits they have come with housings for the 4door n no housing just lights for the 2door so i dont know

They more than likely will not work. Why not just take them back to the dealer and tell them what happened and switch out for the right ones?

Just double checked today at work, the only thing thats universal from kit is the fog lights it self. The kit you have will not be able to work with the coupe since the brakets are way different, So if you already had a kit installed in your coupe then you would be able to use the fog lights of a 4 door, you would just need to switch the brakets. Also what year is your civic and what year are the fog light kit for? the reason why I ask is because the switch to turn on the fog lights for the 06's is position near the mirror adjustment, while the 07's are in the light switch in the stering colum.

 

i dont wana sell em i wana put em on other wise i would not have bought them.
i will most likely just try to take em to the dealer ship they were purchased at kuz i have the receipt but i bought them from someone so we will see if they let me exchange em out for the 2door ones..
the part number is 08v31-sna-100.
the car is an 07.
but i dont know what year the kit is for it has the colum switch in the kit tho not the dash switch..
