Default new accord, need a bit of advice

sold the 4dr ex for 2g and now am looking into my neighbors not running ex coupe...both 1994 honda accord ex, both f22b1, both have had blow head gaskets

alright, the coupe had a hose blown, he over heated it, and f'ed up the head gasket.

he push started it the other day and at every stop the idles would drop so low it would almost die out...hes getting rid of it for sooooo cheap but it needs work.

my options: buy a f22 with low miles and drop it in for 700$, keep this one and do the work to fix it for about $200, do an h22 swap with the f22 tranny for about $1000.

this car is just basically to make money off of, but i want to drive it till june. im looking for the quickest way to have it running within the same week and run into as little problems as possible.

You won't get 160 WHP on the F22 without boost, nitrous, or serious cash. The motor with the blown gasket could have deeper issues than just that, best not to drop your money into a motor you personally know very little about. Go with an H22 longblock with your tranny. Hunt around on Craigslist and wait for the fool selling one for under $500 then talk him down to $400

ide just get another f22 if your lookin to get it in there cheap and you don't care about 140hp. it will definitely be easy and faster then swappin an h22a in.
