Default weird noise

so lately I've been hearing a clunk noise after taking off in first gear and some times wen getting into second. it doesn't happen every time but it happens occasionally. im thinking it could be a couple of things such as the axles, a motor mount or my f***ed up suspension. did any of you experience this problem? or can anyone help me pinpoint the problem??
thanks

Sounds like you get a clunk when the engine torques. I had the same issue and it turned out to be my new header was smacking the crossmember.

Check your front and rear motor mounts.

Check the tranny mount. I have the same issue in my 2000 SH, although it does not always do it. I also notice the shifter moves slightly when I press and let off the accelerator pedal. I replaced the front and rear motor mounts and added energy suspension motor mount inserts. It still did the same thing afterwards. I bought a new tranny mount and will install it when I replace the clutch later this year.
