Default Civic Suspension

I have an 08 Civic DX-A and I want to get aftermarket coil-overs. I looked at H&R and they have the Street Performance Coil-over that lowers an 1.0-2.5 inches. I was wondering if anyone has used these coil-overs and if you can keep your car at stock height and use them. I was also looking at TEIN but they only have applications for an sedan SI, so I was wondering if you can use an SI Sedan coil-over on a regular DX-A?? Also if anyone has any recommendations for aftermarket coil-overs post em up. thanks

dunno, but if youre looking to stay close to stock height you really cant beat the factory HFP supension upgrade. less than a 1" drop and very well tuned for it.

If you want stock or close to stock ride height go with HFP's for non-Si applications. I don't understand why you want coilovers if you're only looking for a mild drop anyway.

hfp is a coilover without the height adjustability.

I want to get coil-overs because i want to improve the handling and get a stiffer ride out of my car. Im not really sure what to do so I posted on here to find out some stuff on coilovers and just suspension stuff. I got the car last year and this year I want to modify it with suspension and some light engine mods. Thanks for the suggestions tho guys, Ill have a look at the HPF

You don't need coilovers to accomplish what you want. I don't know why people think that they need them for that.

The main reason for coilovers is so you can adjust the corner weight of the vehicle. Ride height can be maintained by purchasing custom spring heights.

its a very popular setup. the only major compliant is that they dont lower your ride height all that much, but you happen to be one of the unique cases where that's actually a plus.
