Story:
Bike has been down before by the previous (first) owner. While in my possession (second owner), she has never tipped over or otherwise been damaged. The bike was checked over for frame damage and there was none. There is still evidence of the fall, seen by the rash on the engine cover, slight scuffing on the upper, and a scuff on the (clutch) lever. Also, I had not noticed this before, but the mirrors are different - they both work just fine, but I thought I'd point it out.

The bike runs really well. Hard to imagine any 600 hauling my butt, but this one does. Oil and filter changes (Mobil 1 15w50) were done every 3k miles. Why am I selling? A truck is more useful to me right now. I will still have my supermotard for track-fun. I plan on picking up a literbike in a few years, after a minivan purchase (needs of the expanding family come first). I am also looking into a project car to wrench on - I plan on doing all the things to it that I wanted when I was 18, and now finally have the cash flow to do so.

- Tacoma, Frontier, possibly Ranger or S10; MT preferred, but Auto is ok
- Civic h/b; engine swaps ok, but MUST be MT

it is interesting though that the previous owner went gold on the levers and black with the rearsets and damper. I would have gone allll gold

 

Thanks! My guess is he went with gold levers to match the forks, and black rearsets so they blend in with the swingarm and frame. The damper I dunno - brain fart is my guess.

Gonna drop it off this week at the local dealer for them to check over the bike (and for the valve check).

More and more, as each day goes by, I'm thinking about keeping it. But I could really use a truck...
