Engines vibrate. The vibration has to go somewhere and be dampened. If it's not dampened at the mount, it moves to the next available source -- the body.

Thats normal for hasport mounts to do that because it holds the motor tighter.

Tip: you have to remove the T-bracket to get it out.

^ haha yeah ive calmed down over the 3 months ive had them but it seems like the vibrations are getting worse because its loosening things up.

i have a 92 eg hatch and the trim around the climate control/cd player seemed to get loose and is the loudes knocking/vibration in the world. when i put just a little pressure it stops but i dont know how to make it stick to the dash or if i can remove it and re install it firmer??
sorry not trying to jack your thread!

damn i might do it i just dont think i could it myself.. im gonna see how much i can get a rear integra oem mount for and see how much i can get it installed for as well.
would changing it crucially affect my car? like would it be a really bad decision to change the mount? my rings are messed up right now and im only making 120 hp on a gsr anyways but eventually once i rebuild it i want to boost it. would it be fine on the oem mount boosted? or maybe i can put the hasport back on when i boost it because i probably wouldnt be my daily any more

i have the hasports on my car and i can't say i'm in love with them but then i don't hate them too.

i have at least 6 or 7 different vibrating sounds coming from inside the interior and my rearview mirror rattles so much i pretty much just guess what's behind me which is irritating cause everytime i fix 1 vibrating noise, there's still so many. and many of it involves removing the body panels to fix the little screws and bolts on the inside.

my hood rattles at one point which i cannot seem to find to put some cushioning on it but on the plus side, it's more of a feel thing and i feel more connected to the car feeling all it's inputs when i'm in the car on the road/track.

it's a love/hate issue. if you can stand by it, keep it. if not, dump it.

I didnt know that about the hasport mounts.. Im going to have to get mounts soon. I guess all will have the increased vibration huh? due to the added stiffness. about the inserts though.. for now I have the oems with the poly bushings.. those alone increase vibration

yeah my civic is my daily driver but the vibration is not as bad as some of you have posted but the rear veiw mirror does vibrate. will see what happens after i replace the rear mount. any tips i searched it but found nothing ? if u do boost u need better mounts thats how my stock mounts broke. i would've had innovative but i placed my order and waited 3 weeks and nothing. called passwordjdm where i ordered them and they gave me the hasport billet mounts with upgraded bushing for the same price. innovative mount kit $340 hasport $440 so i cant complain cause everybody says hasport is better than innovative

yeah hasport pwnz them all in my experience quality-wise. You dont want the hasports with the race bushing though because you will go insane.

everything u said is exactly the same here.
always gotta take off panels to get to vibrations and add padding. everytime somethigns fixed another annoying vibration comes.
i honestly think im going to replace it for peace of mind. i would love my car so much more haha. or until i go turbo.
