Default 5zigen bodykit, is it really worth it????

Ok here is the thing. At the moment the owner of one of the import shops here in Az has told me he can get me the complete 5zigen bodykit for 7oo.oo dollars. He likes my car alot and has offered to hook me up many times. The question I have is how much does this kit cost at regular price? also how much does it weight? and does anyone have pics of the kit that I can see?

Thanks guy.

Your car looks good the way it is. I wouldn't do it.

$700 could buy you something else really cool. I don't know what, but I'm sure it would.

You are correct Mr.K2o. I am more about the all motor route, but I was just wondering weather or not I should even consider the kit, I heard it runs about 11oo+ for the compete kit, so I was just curious. As for the Toda parts being available now, is that true? Last I heard they were being released in mid december. I think I will call them tomorrow morning. Thanks guys...

525.oo for jdm lights.. hhmm.. not bad.. But the same guy will sell me them for 375.oo. But once again thats my price only. I am telling the prices im getting from them because I am not telling who is selling me these items. I have a few import shops hooking me up. So I can tell the price but I wont say where. I know its not right of me to tell my prices and from who I got them from, so I dont disclose the seller. When they ask where I can get something, I will recomend one of the shops.

Looks are ok with me, but my main goal is performance. If I get the jdm headlights I would like purchase the jdm HID headlights. He has those in stock as well, so at the moment he is getting me a price on them. And I will also being getting my CF hood soon. He is looking for a good one, im in no hurry at the moment so the more time I give him, the better deal and quality he can get me.

I think I want my TODA parts before the lights and the hood thou. hhhehe.. Well guys I'll keep you posted on what I get next for my car. Also if anyone need pictures or certain shots of the rsx-s just let me know. Good Luck guys...

damn $375??,.... & I thought I got the hook up on mine,.I payed like 425(hondahopup.com)--->thats where I got my wheels from too,..well everything thing for tht matter,..but "he"sold his web site,..and he dosen't sell anymore,..hahaha I guess i put him in the hole--->na,..he had a dealer License and got me the hook up,but no longer sells!

only bad thing about JDM lights(w/ HID's) is that you cannot aim the driver side one,..it & Mine shines up in the air to on-coming traffic-due to Japanese.So people are tellin me that its killin people,.haha Blinding them!
The new thing is to supposedly keep the stocks and use the Parts out of the JDM ones but keep US housing,..or something like that,.Might actually be easier to just DIY blk house if you get HID's?not sure.

You def got da' hook-up MANDO!

I was going to go turbo, but had second thoughts about it. Arizona is really hot so I dont know if it would be a good idea. My friend had a gst with a 16g turbo, and he had alot of problems with things busting and things over heating. So I am going the all motor route, all TODA. And maybe a shot of n2o down the road, but thats still an iffy..All motor for sure thou. Toda releases thier line up in mid december.

I think the fact that honda placed your exhaust manifold behind your motor gives you an edge on your friend's DSM as far as blow by heat from the turbo is concerned. But to make more power you have to burn more fuel, which means more heat... Either way, if you really plan on going ***** out, and the hayame exhaust SCREAMS ***** out, then you'd have to agree that a turbo will give you a huge edge over n/a cars at your elevation. You already know this though... Since turbo cars don't see the atmospheric hurdles that n/a cars do, due to the fact that their incoming air charge is already pressurized, and atmospheric pressure directly effects how an engine breathes, they are capable of achieving maximum efficiency in high elevations... but you already know this too...

I say this from experience, las vegas is no stranger to turbo cars or hellish heat. Especially with the elevation that we have to put up with... Even on 100 octane, an n/a car still doesn't stand a chance in high desert conditions, dollar to dollar, slicks to slicks, pound to pound against a turbo vehicle. The real question is... are you serious. After all that talk, the next obvious question would be, why would a Person with such a Hunger for power buy headlights and body kits and wheels and all this stuff before proving the car's potential.

//end rant.

Good point. I got my rims because they are lighter then stocks, and very light for being 17's. As for bodykits, I was not planning to get one, but I was rather asking peoples opinion on the matter. I like one reply where they said to buy the kit and sell it for the regular cost minus 1oo-2oo dollars less. ehhe.. Im going power rather then looks and the people around me know this. As for turbo im still deciding on this, but the all motor route has caught my eye. I like the quick throttle response that you get from all motor, but then again turbo's top end is also killer. So now you see my delimea(sp?) I mainly do freeway racing, but im starting to get interested in auto X. But as of now there are only 2 turbos available for it, greddy, and rev hard.. I think I will go all motor(TODA) for now and in a few years, maybe 1 yr, see whats available turbo wise and go from there. As for lights, that is not really a concern of mine, I was just stating how much I could get them for. Well Good luck guys.
