Default gsr + less then $1500 = 192whp/129tq

kellybuilt project.

blox type b's + blox spring + cam gears - $550
blox fpr - $30
skunk2 pro series manifold - $150
pro fab headers - $400
3" cai w/ blox stack n filter - $50

got my buddys bone stock gsr n did a little project how much we could put down with less then 1500 spend.. and we finally got it down...

untouch block w/ the list above

192whp/129tq corrected

thanks to RNR BUILT for last min installation on the valve spring n the man himself DNR performance for the tune.

ill have the graph posted when i get back to dnr.

tune was $140

labor was free done by me

n valve spring was install by rnr built for 20 bucks

btw. it was open headers no exhaust.

Cost total in first post was $1080, plus $160 in this post, which totals only $1240. Why does the title of thread list $1500?

Anyways, that's pretty impressive for a low budget build. My buddies gsr also with blox b's managed 185 whp at P.E.D. in Stockton with almost the same build specs with almost the same budget

damn nice numbers...i have some pr3 pistons and a ls crank w/ the same cams and only managed 187 127 at midnight with no cam gear adjustments...i need a retune from a different tuner!

Well this guy didnt have an exhaust bolted up. Your exhaust might have bottled necked you.

numbers are pretty good similar to my friends car made same power
193hp 128 trq ej1 w/ stock gsr blox b cams comptech headers
tuned open header/chromed by dave at dnr
