Default HIDS for my 96

Hey guys I am looking at buying a deep blue HID kit for my 96 gsr,we don't have any shops from where I'm at that sells them or deals them idk why,just wondering if anyone knows of a good site on where to get a 10000k set up cause I can't find one i've looked and none of the sites I found where a complete set with ballasts and what not. if anyone has some in there car and recommends the place they got'em let me know

Why do you want to downgrade your headlights? PnP HID kits are nothing but pure junk.

Look at the first video in this thread, notice how the halogen headlight in the Prelude puts more light on the ground than the junk@$$ HID bulb:

dont go over 8000K, the higher Kaven you go the less light out put you will have.

8000K puts out about half the light of OEM 4300K bulbs.

ok i know that, he wanted 10000K so i said i wouldnt go over 8000K.
people do like hints of blue for bling factor so to each is own

Do an OEM HID projector retrofit if you don't want to attract cops, and want the best lighting PERIOD.

You sure as hell won't get anything like this with a PnP HID kit (juicyfn's car, not mine):

I like that set up, if I remotly knew where to start and how to do a retrofit like that I wouldn't mind spending a little cash and giving it a try but I have never done one so i wouldn't know where to begin

i see that everyone says no for aftermarket hid's but my oem low beams suck... high beams are great but the lows suck. what bulbs would you recommend? i dont plan on going tsx retro.

factory low beam is 9006, and high is 9005

I heard the sylvania whitest lights are good I have a few friends that have them in and say they are great i've never tried them so i don't know personally but they like them

if you want PnP HIDs then just go ebay, if you want real HIDS go retrofit, if you just want a different color light goto autozone and buy some Sylvania bulbs

sylvanias are good enough, you'll need money to go retrofit ill being doing this for my civic.
