i got a 97 base model, auto tranny went out. found a jdm h22a tiptronic tranny for 550. will it work? ive seen all the sensors and solenoids an stuff, everything is there an nothing broke. but will it work with usdm harness and tcu? i have to keep it auto unfortunately.

 

nobody got anything? hell normally kronn is the first to respond but nothign this time... i really need this soon guys.

 

i'm not for certain but I'm gonna go ahead and say yes.

My reasoning is if its an Auto Trans, it shouldn't matter if its JDM or not. It still an Auto trans just switch the sensors.

Only thing I'd be worried about is if it is Trip-Tronic or not. Are you sure it is? Is it from an OBD1 or OBD2 Engine?

That and I personally wouldn't pay $550 for an Auto Trans.. But if that's all you can find.. :\

 

yea i cant seem to find one any damn cheaper. its killing me, as for the butt tard who said said go 5 spd, if you would have read you jackass i cant go manual. i have to stay auto. so take you and your "advice" and go eat a f-ing turd sandwich.

o an yes he it was jdm obd2 tiptronic tranny. sensors match up, but not super positive if the plugs match up.
