Default T Bracket bolt loose?

i have a 91 civic std with a 99 ls swap in it, and i found a bolt that fell off, and it was laying on the tranny. I look to see where it came from and i see a hole that is open so it fell of from there. I put it back in and it goes straight through, it doesn't even tighten. I wanted to know if there is suppose to be a nut on the other side of the bolt. The bolt goes through the top of the t bracket that goes through the motor. It is close the the starter. I couldn't take a pic cause u can barley see it,

Sounds like either the bolt is the wrong one ie too short or the hole is stripped out.

probably the hold got stripped out, how can this happened? I didn't do nothing and it just happened. I had my car done for about like 4 months.
