b16 w450s
i got a b16 swap for my crx it has 450 injectors as far as i know every thing else is stock. my question is will this run with a stock pr3 ecu or will i need to change injectors or will i need a chip or something? thanks.
Unless you have a turbo or a really crazy all motor setup, the stock injectors will normally be fine.
Since the bigger injectors will flow more fuel for the same given duration, a chip would be required to tell the ECU to scale the injectors.
Unfortunately its not as easy as just plugging a number in, since each injector has its on characteristics as far as open/close time etc you typically will need to retune the entire map after an injector change.
If you are using CROME, I typically install Fuel Tools and then set an overall fuel trim to .7 (for DSM 450's) and that will get the car idling and running such that you can get on the street and tune it.
Good luck!
