ok i got a skunk2 tie bar from a friend in a trade and when i goto install it for sum reason the stock bolt dont seem to want to tightin down?? i have the short spacer that comes with the tie bar.

Do i need longer bolts? and how long of a bolt? 1"-1/2"

are you removing your brake line holders. it a small metal bracket. if not you need to remove both of them and just use like a ziptie fo tie the lines.

 

did that and it still doesnt tightin down with the bar on??? idk i need longer bolts cause i dont wanna break the stock bolt in the subframe.

the skunk2 bar comes with it's own bolts and i'm pretty sure they're longer then the stock ones, but dont quote me on that because i dont remember for sure. i have the skunk2 bar and it definitely came with it's own bolts that i replaced the stock ones with when i installed it 2 years ago.
