i have ctr pistons .25 OS..
B18C5, rm m22xx cams 310cc injectors,
previously made 200 whp at 8000 rpm.

i think the piston rings are shot from "bad start- up" been using the motor as is for about 2 years. it burns alot of oil.. so i need another rebuild.. i think the ctr piston is over kill for streets ..
can you guys recommend some pistols that's not too high of compression.
i was thinking of getting some jdm itr pistons, and maybe something like ls crank and rod with somekind of matching pistons.

let me know what's good. and if it's good idea to go forged internals. i'm not planning to boost my car at all

 

if youre at .25 over i would get the 82mm RS machines pistons if they still make them. they are either a P30 or a ITR.

if you think you can get away with going oem OS again, get the P30. B16a2 piston from the 99-00 SI. its got more dome than the ITR but less than the CTR.

 

p30 82mm with ls crank would be kooo..
