i'm in the process of choosing tires n wheels for my 99 civic. it's lowered about 1.5 in, and i'm thinking about getting some 16's with 205-40-16 tires. that makes the tire diameter ~1 less than my stock 185-65-14s. should i go up to 17s with the same aspect ratio?

 

No, just use 205/45R16 tires. Those will be a lot closer to the stock tire diameter.

yeah 205/45/16 will do good for 16's. if ur interested i got some brand new Rota C8's in black with toyo proxes 205/45/16 for $800. Those usually look good on the year civic u have. Is it a coupe or sedan?
