Default Removing Factory seats and other?????

Hi! Curious to know about if remove the factory honda civic seat to Bride race seat will that affect the SRS because there some wire connected at the bottom on the seat. The new seat i brought doesn't come with the buckle seat belt so how I'm going to buckle up. I do have to buy some 3 point belt harness. Also i have the seat bracket and slide but i don't know if gonna fix the civic 98. It say universal on it but i check the measurement and it don't seem to match. Please help me. Here the link to the photo.

As long as your car doesn't have the side airbags built into the seats, you should be fine. But, just as a forewarning: https://honda-tech.com/forums/tech-misc-15/recaro-vs-bride-crash-test-simulation-2515624/

PS. 1998 Civics have different seat rails than 01-05 Civics.

Uhmm! I see the link but anyone here knows how fast was the dummy traveling? The seats look different from what i have. I civic i have don't have Air bag on the side so i should be arlight. I'm concern about the bracket i have. Do you think the 4 generation civic bracket are bit smaller than the 7 generation civic. Do you guys use the factory selt belt on Ricardo, BRide, Corbeau and etc?

That video is of a standardized test that regulates seat safety. It doesn't matter how fast it was going... just that the seat didn't do it's job.

PS. It's RECARO, not Ricardo.

IF all those seats fail for safety then why did the company built it? I'm not trying to create a huge debate over a fail test over Ricardo, Bride, cobeau and etc. I just need to know if anyone own these seat and want to know they use the factory belt. I know factory seats are comfortable and reliable for driving but peoples still died on collision.

Not every company makes products to comply with industry standards. If they did, we'd have a LOT less companies out there on the market. I could go on about how certain wheel manufacturers don't comply with industry standards as well, but I'll keep this message brief.

PS. Again, it's RECARO, not Ricardo. Ricardo isn't even a seat manufacturer.
