Supercharger whine on the new '09 CR-V, which doesn't have supercharger
'09 CR-V w/ odometer less than 400miles.
Be it stand-still or 30mph, when I accelerate moderately, I hear a very faint high-pitched whistle noise coming from the hood for a few seconds. I have my climate control off and I do not think it is related to any wind noise.
It sounds very close a supercharger whine in this video I found on youtube. Only fainter.
Not the first several seconds of rough sound but around 6 or 7 second mark you can hear a higher note of whine/whistle whatever it's called.

No luck with the dealer. The head technician says he can't hear anything and said it needs to be broken in so give it a few thousand miles or so.
Any idea?

Probably just the intake noise. My TL does that on steady cruising and when slightly accelerating at highway speeds.
