if you mean honda 4 cyl a K series with a 103mm crank and 89mm bore.

if you mean import, the 4.7L V8 that came in the toyota tundra in about 2004. theyll turn 8k

if you mean anything, whatever fernando alonsos F1 car has in it.

 

No budget? 454 El Camino. bigger is really better.

 

For what car and purpose? that will determin my choice....

what kind of question is this? too vague. need more info like...whats it gonna be used for? dd, drag, drift, circuit, turbo, n/a, nitrous, etc. with no budget you can use any honda motor and make it go fast...i know you asked for opinions but at least narrow it down first.

yes, k-series is better, but with no budget you can make a sohc just as fast. i've seen sohc motors breaking into the 10's on the 1/4mile.
