So I bought a 96 SE exactly two weeks ago today. It was purchased from a college student who is not into cars at all, and he lives about an hour away. He has no idea where I live because he never came down here I always met up with him. Also, when I got the car it hadnt been driven in months and had like no oil, which kind of made me think he could care less about the car. The car was stolen two days ago in front of my house. I was getting ready to put an alarm on it this week but didnt even get a chance to do that because I was working all week. Here are some pics of the car....





I actually think I may have an idea who stole the car after making like a million calls. So as I'm droppin my girl off at school yesterday morning I see a white gen 2 pull up next to me. I didnt think anything of it until I looked down and saw the wheels on his car. Well, my teg's wheels were pretty dirty because I hadnt gotten a chance to fully clean the car yet. The older white integra that pulled next to me had some real clean sunflowers. I know for a fact where I live if people have these wheels they DO NOT want to sell them. So I thought to myself, how would this guy have gotten those wheels? Plus the fact that they were so clean and his car was not as clean. Of course if you steal a car and take the wheels off you'e gonna clean them up real nice. Also, people who are into cars in my area LOVE to show off their new parts, even if its something real small. I went to school with the dude who was driving the car but he doesnt go to that school anymore, I'm pretty sure he graduated or dropped out, why would he be driving around a school he doesnt go to? So of course he was going to drive around the school so everyone could see his gen 2 sittin on some sunflowers. Problem is I have NO IDEA what his name is, who his friends are, where he lives, I just know what he looks like. BUT...I did get his plate numbers.. Hoping it could help me in the near future. I make a few calls durin the day and NO ONE knows this dude or his car, which is weird because everyone around here knows everyone elses cars. Only one person told me of a dude who had a white gen 2 that fit the description but he told me he had green wheels on his car. So if this is the same dude and he used to have green wheels what a coincidence that he all of a sudden has my same wheels on his car. I know none of this is concrete proof of anything but its the only lead I have. I honestly feel like dude was tryin to floss and got caught slippin thinkin I would never notice his car. I know sunflowers arent the rarest things on earth but I have only ever seen 2 people where I live with them. You guys think its nothin or worth lookin in to?

 

sorry to hear man. Hard to say. Just don't assume that they are the thieves. Make sure you have evidence or can get some. Best of luck.

 

call the cops on those plates if you haven't already, they'd probly be the best ones to help ya out, even if they are dicks sometimes. maybe try to find where he lives and see if he's got anything suspicious there. i think you can look up plates online, but i'm not sure.

Sorry to hear that your car got stolen, but it's doubtful that you'll have any luck trying to pin it on that guy with only circumstantial evidence. You're going to need something a little more solid than that for the police to act on it.

not really a great motor...its the worst color b/c its not really found on any integra's for extra parts...i wanna say thats an exclusive color on 96/97's

it proboly has leather interior which is the only real benefactor

but i'll give you some pointers

Definately look for those exterior parts in that color
Your motor has vin plates on it
1. on the tranny
2. under the header by the oil pan....if you have your vehicles vin code....then you can match it to your motor...
3. If that DA has some fresh leather in it...i'd be weary...but then again alot of people buy leather for there cars...
4. you can buy those sunflowers on the net man....wheels aren't gonna help ya...IMO

 

just do the right thing and call the cops!!! or if not then fukcc him up good!!! lol!!
