How to install front lip?
I just bought this same front lip that's on Limestand's car shown below:

So before anyone says I should PM Limestand and ask him, he has PMs turned off.
I am looking for ways to install this without having screws that are visible other than the ones on the edge of the bumper in the wheel well.
I thought about double sided tape but I have a 3M clear bra on the bumper and don't know if it would wreck the clear bra when I remove the lip. Any clear bra experts?
Did anyone make custom brackets on the bottom that mount to the bumper like the OEM ones? Can you post pics?
Also note that most aftermarket lips will have similar installation so please chime in and give some advice!
TIA!

i think you will have to fab it if u dont want to use 3m double side tape or screws. just connect the type r lip to a metal piece and drill it in under the bumper, or make some kind of custom bracket. but i dont think 3m tape will mess up the clear bra, just use gooe gone afterwards and it shoundn't mess it up.
get metal tabs with holes in it on each side and screw it to the bottom of the lip and the bottom of the bumper, the stock bumper already has holes in it just line it up with them and use a bolt/nut to hold it in place
So I test fitted the lip today as the weather was nice and noticed it doesnt fit on as nice as I hoped. It looks like it'll need some persuasion on the sides. Anybody else have this problem?
I'm not sure if I should use a heat gun and "stretch" it a little.
Kenbo21: If you dont mind, can you take a picture of the edges to see how tight it is? I also noticed in some pictures the bottom of the lip sits much lower than the bottom of the bumper. A picture will help alot!
Also, did any of you have to remove the "air dam" (the rubber strip below the bumper) for it to fit?

The rubber strip on mine was already messed up when I installed mine so I took it off anyways. But yeah it is going to be a little tight on the sides you have to convince it a little to fit.
i believe the metal tabs you are referring to are called "plumbers tape." Your local Lowe's will know what you are talking about.
just screw the bitch on and fill the screw holes with some type of puddy or bondo... yea my old type r lip didnt fit either so i cut the piece that goes around the fender well and screwed it into the size of my bumper and filled the holes
