type r or aebs intake manifold!!!need opinions
so heres the deal, im almost done with my build and cant decide on what intake manifold to choose, my first choice is a itr intake port matched to a stock b16 head or a aebs intake manifold both manifolds are used and about the same price
build
81.5 gsr block
weisco 10:1 pistons
eagle rods
eagle block guard
b16 head
no port and polish
supertech valve springs/retainers
omni valves
type r cams
hytech header
jg 68mm tb
just wanted a quick opinion on what manifold you guys would run.

either IM would work fine. which ever is the cheapest and is better looking to you. but i would have to say the itr because theres no work done to your head(pNp, valve job). so it doesnt need to suck in alot of air when your head cant support it.

Replies such as "its bigger" "whatever is cheaper" or especially "what looks better" hold no credibility whatsoever and should not be supported. There has been extensive debate about the proper intake manifold for b series heads, OP you should really try searching for those threads.
Overall, it has been found that the AEBS manifold contains runners that are ported to best suit a GSR head and provide efficient flow. Skunk2 Pro series or Blox intake manifolds are cast as a direct replica of an OEM ITR intake manifold and are best suited for port matching an ITR/B16 head.
I have yet to see proven dyno records of these claims, but lots of research throughout this site will usually not fail you.

Why the eagle rods and stock CR forged pistons?
OP has obviously listed his modifications

obviously research is good when deciding but it seems like the OP has narrowed his choice to these two.
