just a question or two:
who assembled your motor?

what type of bearings did they use?

i assembled the motor using acls. bearing failure happen due to a drastic drop in oil pressure will racing a vette. oil pressure dropped when the dipstick blow out the block due to to much crank case pressure. sad and confusing to say but thats the demise of the motor. everything else had less than 1500 miles 1251 exactly. all motor gsr on a direct port 200.
