Default skunk2 composite fuel rail ISSUES >>

I have a b16 with blox, type r intake manifold I got that sk2 fuel rail and I bolted down with the stock plastic washers and new o rings and the two in the center leak,,,,

I dont have the spacers that come with the fuel rail
anyone shed some light on the subject because I have tightened it down and I keep going the further I go it seems to get worse I dont know what I am doing wrong.

I lubed the orings before I put them in for I didnt rip them but still

It may sound a bit funny, but i didnt use any of the washers when i installed mine. I took out the stock plastic ones and i didnt use the ones that came with it. It bolted down fine. Try bolting it down without the washers and the spacers.

Did you at least try what he said? Wouldn't hurt. It'll either leak or it won't.

No washers either on mine. Slowly bolt it down evenly shouldn't have problem sealing at all lube the orings if it still leaks check the o rings

check the rings around your fuel injectors, those small rubber hoses that attaches on the fuel injector and filter I beleive.. it keeps the fuel injectors in place when you install it on the fuel rail.. (not the O rings) if your injectors come off way to easy when you pull it apart from the fuel rail then it will cause a leak or even spray and hit your eyes when you put the car on the on position.. this happened to me.

yeaa bout that i got an 00 si the fuel rail leaked a bunch when i changed rail too its actually a common problem if you notice the injector cusions that they injectors sit in should be diffrent depths its wierd well all i did after over torqueing and breaking a few fuel rail studs and replacing them was go buy some oem cusions for the injectors even tho it was leaking from the top not the bottom. the new seats rose the injectors up tighter in to the rail there for clamping the injectors in to place. also the fuel rail studs there are 3 of them if you dnt torque them they dnt get buried to the shank (where the thread stops) so there is thread remaining out the intake manifold, it happens when you go to losen that 10mm bolt that holds down the rail and the the whole stem moves sum bit. if ya just pay attension to how snug each injector seats you should be fine as long as the cusions and o rings are good

i have the same problem its the holes in the fuel rail there too small so when you try to put the injectors in it rips the o-rings cause theres no space. you have to grease them up and keep wiggling it around and hope you dont rip the o-rings.
